Planning a wedding is a celebration in itself, but also a serious undertaking. There’s far more involved than most couples expect. As your wedding planner, I keep the overview. I bring clarity to the process, structure to the planning, and ensure you can enjoy the journey - not only the wedding day.

We begin with an honest, relaxed conversation. Sometimes one meeting is all it takes; sometimes we speak again, online or in person. You share your plans, expectations and vision. I translate that into a clear, structured plan of approach.
Who does what, when, and how everything comes together seamlessly. That’s where the planning truly begins.

No wedding is the same, and neither is my role. I shape my work around what you need, often including:

• A clear, structured timeline and wedding schedule

• Communication with all venues, locations and involved parties

• Sourcing, comparing and coordinating suppliers
  including negotiating prices and terms on your behalf

• Guest list management and communication

• Styling, design and décor guidance

• Logistics from A to Z (yes, even the classic one: how grandma gets from A to B)

 

My approach is personal, structured and flexible. I keep communication direct and agreements clear. Throughout the process, I monitor deadlines, think ahead and highlight where decisions are needed. You stay involved, but never overwhelmed.

The Big Day

If you want to be fully present on your wedding day, without placing practical tasks on family or friends, I can take on the role of Master of Ceremony. I manage the timeline, coordinate all suppliers, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This allows you and your loved ones to enjoy the day without distraction, with a professional point of contact throughout.

 

 

 

Negotiation & Cost

Not everyone enjoys negotiating with suppliers and I completely understand that. Still.. securing the best value for your budget matters. That’s why I negotiate on your behalf. With many years of experience in event organisation, sales and marketing, I know exactly where the flexibility lies in proposals and how to secure strong terms. And any discounts I obtain? They go directly to you!

I also work with full transparency when it comes to my own fees. I use an hourly rate, so you always know exactly what you’re paying for. No surprises, no vague package deals. Clear insight into the work I do and the value it delivers. If you’d prefer a fixed fee, I’m happy to discuss a bespoke option. My standard method remains hourly for full transparency.
